Community
A shared library, built in the open
Product Guide collects the templates and techniques product managers actually use, and is growing into a community around them.
Why this exists
Most product teams rebuild the same documents from scratch: a PRD, an interview script, a launch checklist. Good versions are scattered across blog posts, slide decks and old Confluence spaces. This library puts practical, editable versions in one place, organised by the work you are doing.
What is coming
- Member profiles, so you can save and organise the templates you use.
- Community submissions, so practitioners can publish their own templates.
- Discussion on each template: how people adapted it and what they learned.
- Live workshops and AMAs with experienced product leaders.
How to contribute today
- Pick a category and write your template as a short list of sections, each with a heading and a prompt.
- Add it to
assets/js/content.jswith the next free code, for exampleDIS-04. - Open a pull request with a line on when you would use it.
Not technical? Send the template in any format and it will be added for you.
Privacy
When analytics is on, we count page views and clicks on the share buttons with GoatCounter. It sets no cookies and stores no personal data, so we can't identify you or follow you across other sites. The counts are public: they're the read and share numbers you see on each news post.
When you subscribe, we store your email address, and your first name, role and topics if you give them. We also store the wording you agreed to and when you agreed. We use them only to send the Product Guide newsletter, which we send with Beehiiv, so your email address and those details are also stored there. We never sell your details or share them with anyone else. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your details at any time.
